Any civil servant eager to begin or advance their digital and AI skilling journey can now enroll in the Foundations of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Service program. Successful participants will receive a certificate upon completion of all course requirements.

The program is structured around the following eight modules:

- FDT101: Introduction to Digital Transformation in the Kenyan Public Sector
- FDT102: Data Management and Governance
- FDT103: Cyber Security and Data Protection
- FDT104: Emerging Technologies and AI
- FDT105: Human-Centred Design & Digital Culture
- FDT106: Digital Project Management
- FDT107: Digital Governance and Strategy
- FDT108: Digital Public Infrastructure

You may take the modules in any order; however, you are required to start with FDT101: Introduction to Digital Transformation in the Kenyan Public Sector. This module provides an overview of the entire learning path. Once completed, the system will automatically enroll you in the remaining modules.

The system will generate an acknowledgement of completion after each module.

Civil servants who successfully complete all eight modules will qualify to attend a three-day, in-person practical session at the Regional Centre of Competence for Digital and Artificial Intelligence Skilling in the Public Service, located at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete.
