ADT: Application of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Service

Target Audience
Public officers involved in implementing, coordinating or supporting digital initiatives within ministries, counties, departments and government agencies. The programme is suitable for non-specialist officers responsible for translating digital strategies into practical institutional results. No prior ICT, coding or technical experience is required. Recommended Job Grade Level is L to P.

Learning Objective
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to apply digital transformation and artificial intelligence concepts to real public-sector challenges and contribute more effectively to the planning, implementation and governance of secure, inclusive and citizen-centred digital initiatives.

Course Overview
The programme consists of eight applied courses covering digital transformation and AI, data management and governance, cybersecurity and data protection, emerging technologies, human-centred design, digital culture, digital project and innovation management, digital leadership and strategy, and digital public infrastructure.
